Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 14 June 2026
This policy keeps PromptOS safe and lawful for everyone. It applies to all use of the service and supplements our Terms of Service.
1. Prohibited content & activity
- Generating content that is illegal, or that facilitates violence, weapons, or serious harm to people.
- Sexual content involving minors, or any exploitation of minors.
- Harassment, hate, or targeted abuse.
- Malware, phishing, fraud, or instructions intended to compromise systems or people.
- Attempts to bypass safety controls — prompt injection, jailbreaks, or extracting secrets/credentials.
- Privacy violations, including processing others' personal data without a lawful basis.
2. Fair use & abuse prevention
- Do not attempt to evade rate limits, usage caps, or billing (e.g. multiple accounts to abuse free limits).
- Do not resell or redistribute paid model access in violation of the underlying providers' terms.
- Automated/high-volume use must stay within your plan's limits.
3. Safety handling
The platform automatically flags prompt-injection patterns and refuses high-confidence harmful requests, and injects safety guardrails for sensitive domains (medical, financial, content involving minors). These controls cannot be disabled.
4. Enforcement
We may flag, refuse, rate-limit, or remove content, and may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this policy. Serious or illegal activity may be reported to the relevant authorities. Consumed credits are not refunded on enforcement action.
5. Reporting
